In September in Ghivizzano Castello, a Medieval hamlet in the Municipality of Coreglia Antelminelli, there is an event called “Norcini a Castello”.  This event, started in 2002, is organised by the butchers of Antica Norcineria and is designed to take the visitor on a voyage of discovery of the many treasures this land has to offer, so full of history, traditions and flavours.  In addition to the food and wine products found in the different areas of the village, visitors can also enjoy an historical procession showing the ancient trades of the past organised by Gruppo Storico di Ghivizzano Castello, as well as games, music and entertainment offered by other local associations.
